Responsibilities

- Design and develop innovative plastic products, ensuring they meet Tupperware's high-quality standards and aesthetic appeal. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct feasibility studies and material selection for new product lines. - Oversee the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety protocols. - Conduct tests and evaluations on plastic materials to assess durability and functionality. - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain quality control. - Implement best practices in sustainable material usage and recycling processes. - Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in plastic engineering to drive continuous improvement. - Prepare detailed documentation of engineering processes, specifications, and testing results. - Provide technical support and training to production staff on new processes and equipment. - Engage with suppliers to source high-quality materials, negotiating terms to optimize cost-efficiency. - Develop prototypes and prototypes testing to validate design concepts before full-scale production. - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in plastic manufacturing. -

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. - Minimum 3 years of experience in plastic product design and development. - Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for modelling and simulations. - Strong understanding of polymer processing techniques and materials selection. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance related to plastic manufacturing. - Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Familiarity with sustainable practices in plastic production and product lifecycle management. - Valid Australian work rights, with the ability to obtain relevant visas if required.
