Responsibilities
- Lead the design team in creating innovative branding and marketing materials that resonate with our clients' needs. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions align with business objectives and client expectations. - Develop and maintain a design style guide that reflects Baysis Accounting’s values and enhances our brand identity. - Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve client experiences. - Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and professional growth within the team. - Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. - Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously elevate the quality of our design outputs. - Present design concepts to stakeholders, articulating the vision and rationale behind each project. - Collaborate with marketing to create compelling visual content for digital and print campaigns. - Oversee the production process, ensuring high-quality execution of design projects from concept to completion. - Gather and incorporate feedback from clients
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a design leadership role, preferably within the accounting or financial services sector. - Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma. - Exceptional understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles. - Ability to conceptualise and execute innovative design solutions that meet client needs. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Relevant tertiary qualification in Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. - Demonstrated experience in managing projects from conception to delivery. - A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail. - Familiarity with ANZSCO guidelines and compliance requirements for design roles in Australia.
