Civil Engineering Draftsperson - Full-Time, Permanent

The purpose of the Civil Engineering Draftsperson position is to support Nassima Design Group in the preparation of accurate technical drawings, plans, specifications, and design documentation for civil engineering and construction projects. The role is responsible for transforming engineering concepts and project requirements into detailed drafting documentation that supports project planning, approvals, construction, and delivery.

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, plans, layouts, maps, and technical documentation using CAD and other drafting software.
• Assist engineers and project teams in the preparation of design documentation for civil infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage systems, subdivisions, earthworks, and utilities.
• Produce accurate engineering drawings from sketches, specifications, calculations, and design concepts.
• Review and revise drawings to reflect design modifications, project requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare site layouts, cross-sections, elevations, profiles, and construction details for engineering projects.
• Liaise with engineers, surveyors, architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure drafting requirements are met.
• Ensure drawings and documentation comply with Australian standards, engineering specifications, and relevant legislative requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers, technical records, and project documentation in accordance with company procedures.

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering, Civil Construction Design, or a related field.
• Previous experience in civil engineering drafting or technical drawing will be highly regarded.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar drafting software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
