• Interpret and work from detailed plans, drawings, and specifications for each project
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials with precision
• Install framework, flooring, doors, windows, and roofing structures as required
• Carry out repairs, maintenance, and renovations on existing structures
• Use power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently on site
• Collaborate with site supervisors, builders, and other trades to meet project deadlines
• Ensure all carpentry work complies with Australian building codes and safety standards
• Accurately estimate material requirements and minimise wastage
• Conduct onsite inspections to assess progress and quality of work
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times
• Mentor and support apprentices or new team members as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues
• Identify and resolve carpentry-related issues promptly
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and new carpentry techniques
• Contribute positively to The Perfect Crew Constructions’ professional reputation

• Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification (essential)
• Proven experience in residential or commercial carpentry, ideally 2+ years
• Sound knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and safety practices
• Ability to interpret plans, drawings, and specifications confidently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Current White Card (Construction Induction Card)
• Reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
